Labor Day weekend is supposed to be a holiday weekend. Well atleast I thought that. I think it was the busiest weekend I have had in a while. The choir from church had a choir conference in Kinston. We went there on Firday night and were there all day Saturday. We learned 5 new songs and sang them at the concert on Friday night. I enjoyed it a lot. The church bought 2 of the songs for us to now have. Of course even though half the choir knows the songs, I still have to learn to play them. One of the songs, “Sound the Battle Cry” I almost already know how to play. But the other one will take a little longer. But the weekend was fun. Sunday we sang one of the songs that we learned. This was not one of the published ones. They gave us all the music and this was just a printout.

Sunday was church as usual. i had another Sunday of missing my sister. Of course I miss my sister every day, but especially on Sunday. She played the piano with me and it was a lot of fun to play with her. Our favorite song to play is “I Sing the Mighty Power of God” and it is hymn #6. We sand hymn #5 and #7 during the service. It would have been a perfect Sunday to play that one. But I didn’t play it. Jennifer was the main one with this song. I just tried to keep up.

Monday was fun. I actally got to relax a little bit. I had rented a PS3 game and got a chance to play that some. Cheryl’s parents came over for supper. We had chicken and steak. I also rememberd the Mt. Dew! But now today it’s back to work. Then Trading Post Live at 6:00 tonight.
